Maximizing your Coaching Session Effectiveness
We've decided to work together and so, now you want to maximize your investment by preparing our coaching session. Here are the steps to take.If you are already familiar with these steps, skip over to the Coaching Prep Sheet:
- Step 1: Take some time aside every week not just for coaching sessions but to achieve your goals and complete the session preparatory work below.
Step 2: Keep a success journal describing what you've accomplished that is beyond what you could do before.
Step 3:Complete the Prep Sheet below at least two hours before session. The Prep Sheet ensures that you take some time to think over what you would like us to work on during the session. This will allow us to maximize our time together. As you complete it, try to think about what we should accomplish during the session that will make it feel like a productive one, keeping your goals in mind.
Step 4: If something is a problem for you, don't hesitate to tell me. I am trained to deal with many of the same issues you may be facing, in fact, you'll be surprised that many of my clients likely have some of the same issues. If you discuss it with me, we could try to find solutions around it.
Step 5:Consider that most moderate goals take at least three months to achieve. Your goals are more ambitious so don't expect that your life will change overnight. It may take six months or more to get to where you want to go. Remember this: I will be with you every step of the way and You will have something to be proud of when you've finally achieved your lifelong dreams.
Step 6: Remember that the definition of insanity is doing things the same way and expecting different resulst. You have decided to work with a coach because you want different results. Be open to change!
Step 7: Call on time. I have many clients and if you contact me too late, we may not be able to make up the time.
